Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, password (encrypted), optional phone number.
• Listing content and uploaded photos.
• Messages sent to advertisers through the contact form (name, email, optional phone, text).
• Payment data: handled directly by Stripe and PayPal; the site only stores amount, date and transaction reference.

Purposes and legal basis

Providing the requested service (contract), security and fraud prevention (legitimate interest), tax obligations (legal obligation).

Retention

Account data is kept while the account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

Recipients

Hosting provider, Stripe, PayPal. Contact messages are forwarded to the advertiser of the listing.

Maps

Maps use OpenStreetMap: to display them your browser downloads map images from OpenStreetMap servers, which receive your IP address. When an advertiser looks up an address with "Find on map", the address text is sent to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim search service. The address of the accommodation is published in the listing; the advertiser can choose to show only the area.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, by writing to info@affittiperstudenti.it. You can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
